Kristjana Friðbjörnsdóttir

Bio

Kristjana Friðbjörnsdóttir was born in Reykjavík on January 11th, 1976.

She is a graduate of Menntaskólinn við Sund ('96) and received her B.Ed. from the Teachers' College of Iceland in 1999.

Since her graduation Kristjana has been a schoolteacher in Reykjavík, also working on various afterschool programs with kids and teenagers. Kristjana is the author of the Fjóli Fífils children’s book series and the Ólafía Arnalds series of young adult novels.
