About the book
The children's book Sunwing by the Canadian author Kenneth Oppel, translated to Icelandic by Rúnar Helgi Vignisson. The first book in the series, Silverwing, was published in Rúnar Helgi's translation in 2005 (Silfurvængur).
Rúnar Helgi received The Reykjavík City Children's Literature Award in 2006 for his translation of Sunwing.
