Weather - One
There was a fierce frost
I recall the previous days
and northern lights I remember
and then it started raining
and now it's been raining
for five days on end
and five nights good lord
I'm worn out by now
and that story about twenty horses
trapped on the islet on white river in a flood
danger at hand and north river blocked
would be nicer as an ice warning:
the horses on the islet
the ice-covered river
and the northern lights.
